The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site. And the range of services you require. A basic website typically takes around 4 weeks from beginning to end.
Every project has different needs, and every client a different budget. Because of this we price on an individual basis. Depending on the complexity and what is required. We push budgets as far as they can go, and work hard to ensure your money is being invested in the right areas.
No, we can provide you with hosting on our Australian based servers. We can also take care of registering and managing your domain name too.
If you will be requiring constant changes to the text etc of your site, we recommend a Content Management System.
A Content Management System is a tool that allows you to maintain the pages of your website yourself, without the need for any technical skills. A CMS allows you to edit and add pages, images, products or blog entries to your website. No additional software is required – all you need is a web browser and an internet connection.
Yes we provide all our clients with training on maintaining their website.
We have many options which include, 1;1 training and Custom manuals.
We also have video training for wordpress websites
We can offer a research service to find the required visuals needed for you site. Each image varies in cost starting at $25. If you are particular with what images you want, and wish to search for yourself, we can provide access for this. If none of the images in general ‘stock libraries’ will suit your requirements we have a professional photographer we can recommend who has done many of our sites.
We don’t directly write your content, however if you need help with this we can put you in contact with a copywriter who specialises in writing for the web.
The two ongoing costs of a website are website hosting and domain name registration. Both need to paid for annually (except for .au domain names which are paid for and renewed every 2 years). If you require an eCommerce website you may also need an SSL Certificate to secure your ordering pages – this needs to be renewed annually.
We also suggest if using an open source system such as wordpress too book it in annually to be checked for any software updates that need to be done etc..
Every website we create is submitted to the main search engines. We also offer a Google Analytics setup for each site if required. We apply standard design practices to work with SEO.
But if you would like further service, we have a SEO (Search engine Optimisation) specialised team who can discuss options with you to get your site up the top of Google. There are many aspects that go into achieving good SEO, and one of the most important is the copy (words) on your website. Focus on well written, keyword rich and appropriate content is the key.
We receive 50% of your estimated total as a deposit prior to beginning work for standard projects. The final payment is due immediately upon completion of the project before launching live. Or sooner if web project is delayed by client.
We accept cheques and direct bank deposit, with all details available in your proposal. Your project will begin once your we have received the deposit.
