How to Change Your Password

Every online security guru will tell you it’s important to change your passwords. Changing your passwords regularly will keep your site secure and your community of users happy  Just follow these simple steps and you’ll be back to blogging in no time.

1.  Login to your WordPress installation as you normally would.

2.  From your dashboard, click on Users, and then click Your Profile.

3. Once there, scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the About Yourself section.  You should see the new password area, with the handy WordPress password strength indicator.

4. Enter a new password in the first box, then again in the second box to confirm you want it changed, and finally click Update Profile.

That’s all it takes! Four short steps and you can relax knowing your site is safe.
